This is a somewhat unlikely album that largely succeeds. Bebop altoist Richie Cole and cornball tenorman Boots Randolph meet up somewhere between jazz and country. Actually Randolph sounds quite comfortable on such songs as "Body and Soul," "Good Morning Heartache" and even "Barnyard Be-Bop" while Cole makes tunes such as "Yakety Sax" and "Wabash Cannonball" completely crazy.
